The Heritage Classic is more than just one hockey game.
Festivities for the outdoor game in Winnipeg on Sunday will begin at noon local with the Scotiabank FanFest at the University of Manitoba's U Lot.
The ticketed event includes hockey-inspired programming, interactive activities, special appearances, photo opportunities and giveaways, per an NHL press release.
Flatland Famous, a Winnipeg-based event band, will also perform.
It all leads into an outdoor game at Princess Auto Stadium, home of the CFL's Winnipeg Blue Bombers, between the Jets and Montreal Canadiens.
The Jets have previously played in two Heritage Classics, losing 3-0 to the Edmonton Oilers in 2016 and beating the Calgary Flames 2-1 in 2019.
Sunday's game marks the first-ever outdoor NHL contest in Winnipeg.
Live coverage of the game will be available on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ beginning at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT.
